On Tuesday morning in Baytown, a school bus carrying 31 students and two adults from Deer Park Jr. High School was involved in a crash in the 6000 block of Thompson Road near W. Cedar Bayou, according to Ed Gonzalez of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. 

Fortunately, no life-threatening injuries have been reported. One student may be transported to a hospital as a precaution. 

The school district and local authorities are cooperating in the investigation. Parents were present on scene as details emerged.
